What is the length of the cruises?
Our cruises vary in length from 5 – 32 nights.

Are there any requirements necessary?

We require completion of our online application including CV/resume, current CPR, RN licensure, professional indemnity coverage, Covid vaccine with booster, current passport, minimum 2 years HD experience and a telephone interview.

What expenses will I have to cover myself?
You will share a twin occupancy cabin which will include breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, nightly theatre productions, live lounge music at various bars, access to pools, gym and night club.  Dialysis Cruise staff also enjoy discounts at the spa and on shore excursions. You will be responsible for gratuities (£6 per day), alcoholic/specialty drinks and any onboard shopping you might choose to do.

What type of shift/scheduling can I expect?
You can expect to work approximately 7 hours per shift.  For example, on a 10 night cruise with 4 dialysis days scheduled you will be required to work approximately 28 hours for the duration of the cruise (7 hours per dialysis day) in exchange for the complimentary cruise and included amenities.

What is the nurse to patient ratio?
We proudly provide a ONE nurse to TWO patient ratio.  Your fellow team members will be a Nephrologist and RN’s.

What is the hourly rate?
This is a volunteer position and your reimbursement is a FREE cruise with the amenities included.  This is NOT a paid nor permanent position.

Will there be training provided for the position?
As this is a working vacation for experienced nurses we do not provide orientation nor training.  However, there are always experienced team members onboard to assist.
