One of life’s simplest pleasures is coming together over great food, which, of course, gets better when you’re breathing in the sea breeze in between bites. Carefully crafted menus blend traditional plates with locally inspired cuisine, letting the dish choices be crafted by the itineraries themselves – giving you a taste of the finer things in life.
Ambience has venues for every mood, from quaint and traditional afternoon high teas to decadent gala dinners alongside your Captain.
Breakfast and lunch are generally served on an open seating basis, giving you and your appetite plenty of choice. With dinner, there are two sittings, which can be requested when booking your cruise. If you have any dietary requirements, then just let us know in advance.
Specialty Restaurants
Why not expand your taste buds at the VIP Chef’s Table* for a glittering gastronomic experience, enjoy a taste sensation at speciality restaurants, Saffron* (offering Indian fusion cuisine) or Sea & Grass* (premium steak and grills), or watch the world go by peacefully at the Alfresco Grill? *Supplementary charges apply, not included as standard.
Entertainment, Lounges & Bars
Ambience offers no less than 11 different lounges and bars including Raffles Bar, Botanical Lounge, Observatory, SW19 and The Purple Turtle Pub, so there’s a wide choice of contrasting venues to choose from.
The Palladium is where the real magic happens onboard Ambience. The west-end quality theatre shows are truly a spectacle that has to be experienced. Two evening shows are offered to accommodate both early and late dinner sittings. The talented show team are on hand to entertain you all night long with a selection of shows.
Raffles Bar is a wonderful place to sit and unwind after a delicious meal before heading down to the Palladium for a show. Alternatively, it is a chilled spot for a relaxing evening with a glass of whatever you fancy. Raffles hosts some great resident musicians, adopting a jazz feel with its art deco interior.
Prefer a pub experience? The Purple Turtle Pub is for you. Home to quizzes and game shows on board, you’ll be able to enjoy an evening of competitive fun with your resident guests onboard whilst enjoying the traditional pub service and feeling.
The Botanical Lounge has a floral theme and is also home to live music in the evening, with a resident musician playing classical music, creating a relaxing and chilled ambience. Perfect for those who want to sip on a cocktail and decide how to spend the following day or reflect on a day well spent before heading off to bed.
Last but by no means least, the Observatory is a unique location, offering uninterrupted views over the sea ahead and serving a selection of tantalising tipples. Here you’ll be able to enjoy the best of both worlds, as drinks are served alongside entertainment, often a cabaret and then a late-night disco – best get your dancing shoes on!
Other Facilities
The heart of this beautiful ship is the impressive three-decked Centre Court where you will find Dicken’s for some refreshment, SW19, Ambassador Casino, Shopping Galleria, Photo Gallery, Reception, Destination Experiences and Future Cruises. Other facilities on Ambience include Coffee House, Aces & Eights Bridge and Card room, Kapoor’s Crafters Studio, Bronte’s Library, Active Studio, Gym and Wellness Spa.
Your cruise fare includes more than just your cabin accommodation, there’s full board cuisine, afternoon teas, daytime activities, evening entertainment and full use of the onboard leisure facilities are all included in the fare.
Out on Deck
There are spacious deck areas from which you can enjoy the panoramic views. When the weather is fine, there is a swimming pool, two hot tubs and a large screen for outdoor movies and sporting events.

Sail to Bergen, Norway’s second-largest city, which fronts crystalline blue waters. Cruising along some of the most beautiful fjords in the world, you will relish your sojourn in the unspoilt village of Flam. Arriving at Eidfjord, you’ll experience some of the finest views you’ve ever seen when you visit the world’s fifth longest fjord that stretches from the Atlantic into the heart of Norway. A stop at Stavanger provides you with the opportunity to cruise Boknafjord, which is among the world’s widest fjords.
